Intended use & safety
Intended use & safety
This product is sold for use with ornamental aquarium fish only. It is not for human use, not for use in animals raised for food, and not intended for dogs, cats, livestock or any other animal.
Nothing on this page is medical or veterinary advice, and we cannot recommend doses for any animal. If a pet needs treatment, consult a licensed veterinarian who can examine the animal and prescribe appropriately.
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Store in the original sealed container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Check the lot number and expiry date printed on the packaging before use.
Antibacterial treatments can reduce the nitrifying bacteria that drive your tank's nitrogen cycle. Many aquarists treat in a separate hospital tank, monitor ammonia and nitrite during a course, and plan extra water changes afterwards.
